It's narcotic. Animal studies have shown potential carcinogenic effects.

2. Main purpose

It is mainly used for the preparation of glycerol, epoxy resin, chlorohydrin rubber, polyether polyols, and is an important raw material for the production of glycerol and glycidyl derivatives. It is used as an organic solvent. Epichlorohydrin is an intermediate of rat glycerol, a rodenticide [2]. Organic solvent (resin, gum, cellulose ester, cellulose ether, etc.).

It is an important raw material and intermediate of organic synthesis. Used for production of epoxy resin and as a diluent of epoxy resin. It is also used to manufacture glycerin, nitroglycerin explosives, glass reinforced plastics, glycerin methacrylate, chlorol rubber, glycidyl derivatives, surfactants, electrical insulation products and so on
