Hexahydrobenzene is a colorless pungent liquid. Insoluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents. Extremely flammable. It can be used as common solvent, standard material for chromatographic analysis and for organic synthesis. It can be used in resins, coatings, fats, paraffin oils, and can also be used to prepare cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone.
